Definitions:
- Headshot – a head and shoulders portrait on one of our standard backdrops.
- Executive Portrait – A headshot, three-quarter or full-length environmental portrait.
1. What kind of portrait do I need?
A headshot is an effective tool for small scale marketing for people to be able to recognize you from your portrait in marketing material. The biggest limitation of a headshot from a marketing perspective is it’s ability to communicate anything about your particular personality, style, or business. Headshots work well for certain types of businesses including real estate, legal, financial or insurance.
An executive portrait is chosen over a standard headshot because it is a more effective tool in marketing your business and communicating corporate “image”. Executive portraits usually say something about who you are, what business you are in, or represent your values in some way. They can be photographed “head and shoulders”, ¾ length, or full length, and allow for much more creative collaboration. From the style of dress to the chosen location, a well planned executive portrait can communicate volumes, where a headshot is much more limited.

2. Are you expensive?
Please call or contact me through the site, and I would be glad to send you our rate sheet for services. We have a basic charge for services, then based on your needs, there are fees for other services like additional files, hair and makeup, assistants for larger groups, etc… Our rates are very reasonable and in line with the Houston market.
3. What makes you different?
One of the biggest things that makes our service unique is the ability to do proper facial analysis and then create a portrait that makes you look your best! Scientifically, what creates “beauty” to the human eye is facial symmetry. Most of us (except you supermodels out there…) have faces that are not symmetrical. By taking time to discover those things beforehand, we can correct them with proper posing and lighting helping you to look you absolute best!
4. But I found somebody that can do it cheap??
That old adage “you get what you pay for…” is an OLD adage for a reason! Do you really want to go “cheap” on the image that will convey who you are to your clients? I don’t know that I would be looking for cheap… Quite the opposite I’m sure because, people can spot a cheap headshot, and what does that communicate about you and your company? The real question is, do they know how to make you look your best? I do!! Call me today to schedule an appointment!
How does it work?
Step 1: The shoot
We decide on a location for the portraits. Most of the time, I can find an area in your office that is adequate, and I will photograph the group or team that needs to be photographed (minimum of 3…). I will have your portraits online within 24 hours after the shoot, and will send you an email with a link for viewing.
Step 2: The choices
You pick the files that you prefer, and let us know. The files will be fully retouched and prepared for use. This usually takes 1-2 days… If you need the file quickly, and you need us to expedite the process, you need to tell us to RUSH IT! Depending on our scheduling, there may be an additional surcharge for this service.
Step 3: The delivery
When the files are ready, they will be emailed to the designated contact for download. The link for download will be available for 30 days at which time they will “time out”. Please download your files and burn a backup for safe keeping before they expire. There is a $25 charge for “reinstatement” as your files will have been archived.
The file specs?
The files we deliver are 8×10 inches at 300dpi and are delivered in .jpg format.

We are a “multi-location” or “International” company… what do we do?
There are a couple of options to consider.
- Do you have a corporate jet?? (kidding)
- Do you have yearly corporate meetings? This is a great time to get headshots taken for all those needed. Make them mandatory, and we will set up in a location for however long needed and knock it out! We have a very streamlined process for getting these taken quickly so that people are not inconvenienced. This is also a good time to make some really nice portraits of your executives and management teams!
- I am willing to travel to your sites, especially if they are in Texas! Most of the business centers in Texas are within 4-5 hours travel from the Houston metro area. Just a day trip plus travel expenses…
